William Giribaldi was born in Arezzo (Italy) on December 31, 1972, son of Silano Giribaldi ( knife thrower ) and Daniela Coatti ( trapeze artist ).
Since he was a child, he began his training as an acrobat. But his greatest passion is juggling and he debuted as an artist at the age of 17 in the Lina Orfei Circus (Italy).
After a rapid but fruitful career that took him to perform in Greece and the United Arab Emirates, in 1994 he joined the Circo Raluy Histórico, with which he toured the French Caribbean. From this point on, his professional career became intertwined with his relationship with Rosa Raluy, and together they created new acrobatic acts.
In the following years he continued with the Raluy Circus during his seasons in Costa Rica, Spain and Argentina. From 2001 to 2004 William and Rosa had new work experiences performing on Cruises through Latin America and then at the Fosset Circus in Ireland and the Canary Islands.
In 2005 they returned to the Raluy circus and William became technical manager of the company.
William has also dedicated many years of his life to passing on his knowledge of acrobatics to young artists and is the trainer of his daughters Kimberley and Jillian who, today, are internationally renowned acrobats known as the Raluy Sisters.
Currently William directs the Raluy Historical Circus under the technical and organizational aspects.
Corporate activity
- In 2024 he was appointed a member of the jury in charge of awarding the National Circus Award 2024, corresponding to that same year 2024, through the corresponding publication in the BOE.
- Also in 2024 Giribaldi was appointed a member of the State Council of Performing Arts and Music.
- It is part of the Board of Directors from the Association of Circus Professionals of Catalonia (APCC), a private, independent, non-profit entity whose objective is to promote and disseminate the circus in the cultural, social and economic life of the country.
- Since February 2026, William Giribaldi is Vice President of UPAAC (Association of Artists and Friends of the Circus Arts).

William Giribaldi also performed at the London Bar, where he showcased his juggling talent in a very special show .
