About the Raluy Historical Circus

La Raluy family is a renowned circus dynasty with more than 150 years of history. Its legacy begins with Francisco Raluy, a young entrepreneur born in Fonz, Huesca, and father of Luis Raluy Iglesias, who came into the world on February 11, 1911.

Motivated by the captivating anecdotes of his father's nomadic life, Luís Raluy developed an early passion for the circus. During his youth, he stood out as an outstanding gymnast, specialising in acrobatics and high bars, training in Barceloneta, Barcelona. There he formed important connections that led him to join the prestigious Oliveras and Keistone bar acts, earning him a place on the most important circus stages in Europe.

Luis Raluy's dedication to the art of circus transcended generations, passing on this passion to his descendants. Today, the Raluy family, headed by Rosa Raluy, William Giribaldi and the Raluy Sisters, is one of the most iconic circus companies in Spain. Their performances, which combine magic, music and acrobatics, continue to fascinate audiences of all ages. This legacy, built with effort and talent, is a living tribute to the rich circus tradition, maintaining its charm and relevance over time.
