The prestigious Girona International Circ Elefant d'Or Festival celebrated today its 2021 edition, establishing itself as one of the great circus gatherings in Europe. This event brings together artists from around the world over several days, competing for the coveted prizes. Gold, Silver and Bronze Elephants, awards that recognize excellence in disciplines such as acrobatics, juggling, balancing, and magic.
In this edition, the jury was attended by Rosa Raluy, Director of Historical Raluy Circus and heir to one of the most emblematic dynasties of the European circus. Her participation represents a recognition of the trajectory of the Circo Raluy Histórico, an international benchmark both for the quality of its shows and for the preservation of circus heritage.
The Elefant d'Or, organized by the Circus Arts Foundation, is considered the "Catalan Monte Carlo" for its competitive format and the international exposure it grants to the award-winning artists.
